Low Fidelity

In the low-fidelity design phase for Foodzies, we create simplified wireframes to outline key screens and interactions, like the homepage and checkout process, based on the data we collected from user surveys and research. These rough sketches allow us to iterate quickly and gather feedback, ensuring the final design meets user needs effectively.

Style Guide & Branding

The style guide for Foodzies integrates a tasteful combination of green and greys, not only for aesthetic appeal but also to symbolize health and vitality. Green, often associated with nature and freshness, signifies our commitment to offering wholesome and nutritious meal options. Icons and buttons are thoughtfully designed with simplicity in mind, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience that reflects our dedication to promoting health and well-being.

High Fidelity

In the high-fidelity design phase for Foodzies, we translate our low-fidelity wireframes into polished, detailed mockups that accurately represent the final look and feel of our app.

Final Designs

Our final design of Foodzies ensures a smooth and easy experience, allowing users to choose a meal and automatically fill their cart with the needed ingredients. Each ingredient is clearly labeled with its name, measurement unit, and adjustable quantity controls for simple customization. Reflection

After developing this app with a team, I learned a great deal about collaboration and the importance of sharing ideas to improve our product. We discovered that understanding how users interact with the app is crucial. Conducting research on our audience provided valuable insights into their needs, allowing us to design the app to serve them better. This experience highlighted the value of teamwork and the importance of listening to user feedback to continually enhance the app.

An example of this collaborative effort was our work on the cart page. As a team, we went through many iterations to determine the best way for users to add meals and their ingredients. This process involved brainstorming, testing different designs, and incorporating feedback to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience.
